Huckabee Endorses Slavery

Nasty anal discharge Mike Huckabee endorses slavery for criminals.

Radio jerkhost Jan Mickelson argued the criminal justice system has been taken over by progressives and suggested the Book of Exodus had the answer.  “It says, if a person steals, they have to pay it back two-fold, four-fold,” Mickelson explained. “If they don’t have anything, we’re supposed to take them down and sell them.”

Huckabee naturally agreed.

This probably explains why Huckabee's son David was not sold into slavery for murdering a stray dog [by hanging].  The Huckster had made enough money from donations by stupid people.

Scott Walker not a Whiner?

Recently missing-in-action Governor Scott Walker was on the "Charlie Sykes Rant and Lie Comedy Hour for Easily Fooled Buffoons" to comment about his failed presidential run.  Not gonna whine, the gov said and then proceeded to do just that.

http://onpolitics.usatoday.com/2015/10/14/former-gop-hopeful-scott-walker-im-not-going-to-whine-but/

Guess who's fault it was that people didn't like him?  The media, of course.

The gov also said if he ran again it would not be while simultaneously running the state.  Heh.  He wasn't here anyway.

Lastly, Walker said he attempts to discern god's wishes for him every day.  The same god who suggested he run and the same god who suggested he drop out.  God has a sense of humor, me thinks, if he existed.

Fevered Imagination of Your Governor

Recently proposed [not really] as an alternative to our mass transit system by the pus-filled [really] brain of Governor Scott Walker:

"With this new mass transit proposal linking suburbs with the city, wealthy suburbanites can now sit in comfort in golden divan chairs toted about by darker types from the ghetto.  This will reduce unemployment and decrease congestion on our freeways caused by the almost endless construction underway by cronies of mine who have paid me to be their governor."

Oath Keepers Paranoid Fuckwits

Heh.  Apparently Oath Keepers, the nitwit anti-government pro-guns group that assisted racist Clive Bundy, and offered to protect bigot county clerk, Kim Davis, now has decided they need to teach college students how to stop cooperating with crazed gunmen.

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/oath-keepers-starting-college-chapters-so-students-will-stop-cooperating-their-own-murders

I've seen pictures of these goofs walking around in their camoflage outfits and immediately came to dislike and distrust them.  This from Oklahoma makes me distrust these fuckers more.

"Charles Dyer, a former Marine with ties to the anti-goverment Oath Keepers was sentenced to 30 years for raping his daughter when shwe was six."

These people are batshit paranoid crazy.

Cubs beat Cardinals

Only time you will see me rooting for the Cubbies is when they play the Cardinals.  Cubbies win 6-4 to advance.

And, televangelist Jim Bakker is batshit crazy ... so is his wife who claims to have had five abortions before seeing the light.  Suuure.

Gun Dumb

Women shoots at fleeing shoplifter [she was not threatened] ignoring chance she might hit innocent bystanders.

Eleven-year old grabs parents' unlocked shotgun and shoots eight-year old dead over puppy dispute.

There have been 559 deaths of children due to guns this year.

Yeah, no issue with guns in this country.

Rand Paul -- Dumbass

[Need I say] Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul's idea to reduce shootings in schools:

"I would have, and encourage, every school in America to put stickers on every window, going into the school saying “We are armed. Come in at your own peril. We have concealed carry for teachers who have permits. And we also have armed security. And you will be shot.”

Fuck yeah, now I know my kids are safe.

Stating the Obvious Because Fear Mongering

Televangelist Rick Joyner has been predicting that god will unleash an earthquake on California, since 2011.  Way to go out on a limb.

I predict the Green Bay Packers will play at least 16 football games this year.

Carson an Asshole

This from Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson:

"There is no doubt that this senseless violence is breathtaking—but I never saw a body with bullet holes that was more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away."

What's truly breathtaking is the callousness of this statement.  I'm sure those were his immediate thoughts as he removed bullets and then spoke to family members afterword.  I can imagine this conversation:  "I'm sorry that your son died from his wounds but at least our right to bear arms is still intact.  Take comfort from that."

What a fuckwit.

I got a better idea, get rid of the fucking proliferation of guns in the hands of murdering maniacs and no one gets shot.

Mat Staver Dishonest

...and most other members of the [not so] Religious Right.  Staver recently commented enthusiastically about 100,000 people praying in Peru in support of embattled county clerk and bigot, Kim Davis.  Unfortunately for lying liar Staver, the picture that accompanied his pronouncement was from a rally in 2014.

More recently, Staver announced a meeting Davis and Pope Francis and said the Pope had encouraged her.  Staver made it sound (and continues to insist) as though His Holiness and the often divorced county clerk had had a genuine meeting of souls when in fact, as the Vatican later clarified, she had been one of many who were blessed in passing.  Funny, the only individual the Pope actually met with was an old friend who, it happens, is gay.  Ha ha.

Aside:  I went to the blog of local curmudgeon, Dad29, simply out of curiosity.  We had a civil conversation for a bit about Davis and the Pope.  Daddio still hasn't responded to my refutation (with links) of his being encouraged by the "encouragement" of the Pope for Davis's illegal activities and bigotry.  But then daddio has always been in favor of getting in the last word.  He's not required to respond and may yet, who knows?

What gets me about daddio ... he can wax poetic about the beauty of the Eternal, yet his actions and words are diametrically opposed to how Jesus through his sermons asked followers to behave.  That's dishonest.

First Post since 2013

I will be trying to write on a semi-regular basis if only to get back into the swing of writing.  One must practice.

My thoughts tonight are of Kim Davis, the insane county clerk in Kentucky who refuses to do her job.  I have respect for a person's faith, though I am a non-believer.  But her actions and those of her "legal team" are ridiculous.  Ms. Davis is not performing gay marriage, nor is she sanctifying these marriages.  She was elected to simply provide the legal documents for these marriages.  If she cannot do these simple tasks she should resign.
